This is an updated post on my project so you can see how it is developing.
I will try to describe for you what the project is about as clearly as I can
Spheres Of Influence is an Interactive Art Installation.
This means that it will feature an artwork that the viewer can play with. They will be able to do this by interacting with the sounds and visuals.
The first thing that the viewer will encounter when they enter the installation or space is a 3D sphere. On to this sphere there will be a series of projected images and sounds.
The predominant theme in the work is that of a dark mysterious female figure that will reveal images and sounds to the viewer.
To begin with she beckons the viewer closer and reveals something hidden in her hand when this image has been revealed the viewer can interact with the visual and set it in motion altering it by moving backwards or forwards. Another visual and sound can be revealed when the interaction sets the second hand in motion. Various other images and sounds can be played by the viewer. These interactions will be triggered by motion tracking technology.
There are various Plug- ins that can be downloaded that will set the different interactions in motion. Processing and Gem are also technologies that can be used to achieve this.
At the moment I am researching technologies, which would be suitable for me in adapting this project. Any help would be appreciated.
